Matt Trejo is a distinguished martial artist with over 23 years of experience, embodying the discipline and dedication that define excellence. As a 5th-degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate and a Blue Belt Stripe 2 in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Matt has achieved mastery and proficiency in multiple martial arts disciplines. His journey began in his youth, driven by a passion for martial arts that led him to train under some of the world’s most respected masters, refining his skills in American Kenpo Karate, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Filipino Arnis, and Boxing.

A member of the Phasic Kombatives Kenpo Alliance (PKKA), Matt is renowned for his ability to blend traditional martial arts principles with contemporary training techniques. His expertise extends to defensive tactics, specializing in hand-to-hand combat, weapon retention, and control holds, making him a sought-after instructor for law enforcement and adult learners. Through dynamic workshops and tailored programs, Matt has empowered countless individuals with the confidence and skills to excel in real-world situations.

Beyond martial arts, Matt’s background in personal training and performance coaching reflects his commitment to holistic fitness and peak performance. He has designed and led specialized strength and conditioning programs, enhancing athletic performance in speed, agility, and endurance for both youth athletes and adult clients.
